update time!
ok week and a half ago, Handed in my notice! Soon i'll be unemployed, yay! Either that or i'll get a job as an accounts assistant either through one of the lovely agencies or through one of a multitude of application forms that i have posted. Then that wkend i went to Worchester to see some of my Nurse friends there, everything was fine and not flooded as it is now. Saw HP5 and it was pretty good, lot of the book was cut away but i kinda expected that. Went out the next night to Flares and got very drunk, spent the next two days relaxing eating pizza and watching Dvds, all good. Came home and went to see Spammalot in London which was very funny and well put together, had an awesome time! Then the next day went to Bluewater and brought loads and loads of new clothes, and they say you can't buy happiness! Then a few days later i went to see HP5 again with a friend who hadn't seen it yet and then as we were both being slightly obsessive fans went and queued up and brought HP7 which i then spent till 4 in the morning reading and enjoying. didn't get much sleep that wkend although did get dragged out to a bar in stortford which i hadn't been to before and was shocked to find a trendy wine bar that was playing Red Hot Chilli Peppers! happiness. Then my toes got infected swelled up to twice its size and proceeded to hurt like hell. Anti-biotics are fun. Made work abit painful for a few days as for some reason i still went in.. Today i wrote down twenty five songs that tug on your heartstrings just abit, my job is really rather boring sometimes heh that is why in 3 weeks i'll be in new employment! oh someone said something about borrowing my brown robe, please contact me if you still need it! enjoy | | Thursday, June 28th, 2007 | | 11:07 am |

Moot 1: Got there late fri night and didn't go to bed till late sat night, this spontaneousity resulted in sleep deprivation and some of the best roleplay/fun that i've had since the G last year. Could meantion about the mud and all sorts but everyone else seems to have already, just recieve that nice warm glow of a fellow person having a really good time! got back rested for a day or two then on Wed I went to Alton Towers! got there early and went on every ride! (except the kiddies ones!) it was awesome very very awesome and is kinda the reason why i am so tired right now. Can't make it to Moot 2 on thurs :( too tired and have some things i have to do at home so not helpful that my lift wants to go at 11am! oh well will head up 2moro at around that time myself! so if any one knows anyone who's stuck and needs a lift 2moro around lunch time i have some room in my car and will be leaving from harlow. enjoy! today
nice long run today around berkshire got home early brought pizza as got paid yesterday and thenwent to college for a mind numbingly dull computer course, step one: turning on your computer (allotted time 5min), i mean really how dumb is your average beginner accountant??? oh and trust me it only gets worse... things that brightened my day alittle bit: http://www.bladerunner.tv/product/details.php?id=Bladerunne as i really think that i might get one, be good for paintballing and feeding my paranoia whenever i visit london! http://www.eurogamer.net/tv_video.php?playlist_id=2512&s=l just for a look at some next gen graphics and http://www.joystiq.com/ and scroll down to the Halo vs Samus fight, which is admittedly very cool. (yes im a big geek! LT wise, mostering the armourers (ages ago) was awesome on fri and sun, sat less so but still good. Have booked all four events this year and am still waiting for my booking pack, although character wise i am seriously lamenting the lack of 1 and 3 c/s's but have resigned myself to do some juggling on the gate dependin on how bad my special becomes Want to come to the Jackals this weekend but have double booked myself and apparently agreed to a semi date a few weeks ago, not sure if i did or not but the girl in question is cute but the draw of playing Hans before the rules change one last time is quite strong... enjoy your evening everyone! | | Wednesday, March 21st, 2007 | | 3:10 pm |

Haven't really updated in a while, mostly cos i find it really hard to justify time to compartmentalise my life into small segments and then input them onto the web, also i am very lazy/easily distracted. Am going to the Armourers event this wkend, am leaving from Harlow at prob around 4-5 depend on how nice my manager is feeling, strangely enough i have room in my car so if anyone needs a lift who lives between Harlow and the Campsite or knows someone who does then forward them onto me and we'll sort something out. did have something else really important to say but for the life of me i can't remember what it is now, perhaps in a few months when i update again i'll have remembered ;-) have had what has seemed like a really long boring day but on the other hand i seem to be home early so am not sure what to make of it. | | Sunday, November 12th, 2006 | | 9:36 am |
today
had a good past few weeks, last weekend went on a 21st drinking trip to blackpool which was a good laugh and i did get to meet lots of interesting ppl! this weekend is the complete opposite, have an exam i haveto sit on monday so have just been hermitting it inside, to varing degrees of success. anyway on a more interesting note, despite what some ppl are saying about the new james bond film coming out next week i have been getting alittle excited about it. Especially as these films sort of sum up key moments in my childhood. Heard the theme song for it the other day an dhave spent a few minutes this morning searching for it, so for your delication: Chris Cornell - You Know My Name http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7j93Bf-EyIenjoy, and let me know what you think of it! | | Sunday, October 29th, 2006 | | 7:37 am |

INVASION!
well its official, the uk is under attack. Thats right the british isles is being invaded by... Mayflies! for some reason i seem to be a magnet to them as they fly into my face whilst i try to get some sleep and whilst i walk around. The only good thing is that they only live for 3 days so hopefully the invasion will be over soon. T | | Tuesday, September 19th, 2006 | | 12:07 am |
Drag racing Nuns
The other day i pull up at some traffic lights in my white van and a Nun in a sporty little car pulled up next to me, 200m ahead the two road line became only one road, my foot slipped slightly and i revved the engine abit and to my surprise the Nun did too. The lights went orange and we both leapt off of the line like greased fat. It just so happens that a) i managed to change gears faster than her and b) my top speed was better and i got there first :D she was left in my wake. well this isn't quite what actually happened, this is what was told to me by a mate the other day, i did race a nurse in drag like fashion and i did win, it just makes me chuckle that chinese wisphers has struck again. just want to see what happens next! moving on
Driving around gives me alot of time to think, especially when im stuck in a queue in the rain for 2 hours. sorry had to complain about that. went out on the town last nite, and found to some concern that harlow is absolutely dead in the evening, the thing that really worries me is that a large town like harlow shouldn't be that quiet on a saturday night. Now either no one goes out in harlow anymore or theres something happening that i don't know about... This is the second sat i've been out and its been dead both times, i think somethings up and as such i want to go elsewhere next sat. In other news i've sent off packs to play the Jackals and the Vipers, will prob be monstering the unicorns, dragons and armourers and haven't decided about the Incantors parliament, might play it and see what happens. If there are any other ones happening then will prob go to those to! enjoy ya all! | | Tuesday, September 5th, 2006 | | 3:54 pm |
Re Your Brains
hehe, worth it i think. http://www.myspace.com/jonathancoultonhey, first day out on my own in a white van, had fun cos the M25 behaved itself i'm told thats cos special ninja traffic cops were paid to make sure i had a good first solo day... sounds reasonable. I know i want to go to loads of small events so if ppl could let me know which ones they are going to then i can make concrete plans, either way i'll prob go monster a load if i can :D tis the season to go monstering and all that. Tom ps random music of the day was hearing the Gilimots do a cover of "Take me out (franz ferdinand)" in the live lounge on radio one, actually awesome as they have 2 saxaphones. think it can be found on radio 1's website if your interested? | | Sunday, September 3rd, 2006 | | 9:22 pm |

Dream Memories
Yesterday i woke up with a profound sense of saddness and loss, I had a wonderful dream which revisited a series of story like dreams i had when i was very little and basically was me returning to see all the characters several years on. Just sort of made me wistful for the rest of the day. Today i tidied up quit abit and then went for a drive and pub lunch with Saz (who i haven't seen for ages!) and despite me saying that i wouldn't i did end up spending my emergency £10. I now have nothing left till wed. The reason why i have no money is quite long but it comes down to my old company not talking to its finance department so they had me on a different pay contract to that i actually signed (or something :S) and thus they haven't paid me for 3 weeks now, but they are now sending me a cheque in the post, soon i'll have money again!! Yay! Last weekend i was at the Gathering, i thought about doing a separate post for it but there are only a few things that i want to say about it. And that is that i had an awesome time, true i did work my arse off for alot of the time but hey it was worth it. As with every event there were highs and lows but i can say i was there at several of the diffining moments of the weekend, such as Cornelius being dismissed, Esmund taking down a Lich with that amazing dagger, had some awesome roleplay with all the channelers (i love you guys), frantic chasing of a banner in the cadre fight, some awesome PvP night fights, being included in a load of secret squirrel meetings (don't know who started calling them that but it seems to have caught on) to name but a few. I would like to thank everyone for making this such a memorable weekend for me and everyone else that went there. Current Mood: and abit lazy | | Monday, August 14th, 2006 | | 4:25 pm |
had to happen eventually
Tom Curtis aged 21 (soon to be 22 :D ) on reflection im not really where i'd thought i'd be right now in life. oh well, steps will eventually be made to try and correct this. Anyway last few months, high and low lights: saw the fratellis with scotish sarah, despite being a rubish venue still love their music, good to see sarah too! got my degree (a 3rd, 1% off of a 2.2) was a little upset by this, went to my graduation anyway was really nice, awesomely expensive grub, have some pictures of me in a decidedly turkey'ish robe! moved all my stuff back to harlow as ran out of money to live in brum, realised i had more stuff then both housemates put together and had no room at all to put them at home, finally made space and chucked a load od stuff out. Got a job in the warehouse worked long stupid hours, temp jobs like that are no fun, but the pay was good and i now have a pair of cool chain mail gloves... :) finally got my first full time "proper" job, going to be a delivery guy for the NHS, delivering supplies to Hospitals and old ppl, good pay, some benefits but not really what i'd thought i'd be doing, wanted to go into finance but instead will end up in management if i stay with Clinovia.. as i said will make effort to change this soon, well once i've paid off a load of the debts that i've incured! oh yeah and there were some fantastic Moots in there somewhere, soon the Gathering shall happen and all sorts of fun will happen! :) hopefully now my lifes settled down just abit i will update more. oh and first day inductions at any companies are just as boring... | | Friday, July 14th, 2006 | | 3:15 pm |
